Showcasing Relais & Chateaux’s commitment to sustainability, Inn at Hastings Park will be partnering with Lexington Community Farm and showcasing the elegant portfolios of King Estate and Garry Farell Wineries.

When King Estate was founded in 1991, it was driven by a commitment to sustainability and profound respect for the land. The adventurous spirit that inspired them from the beginning continues to guide them as they nurture their vineyards to craft premium Oregon wines. The King Estate story is woven into the history of Oregon wine, where winemaking is synonymous with discovery and sustainability. The last 30 years have been focused on innovation, craft, and a deep sense of respect for the land, the vines and the people who enjoy our wines. They have been establishing their traditions, one vintage at a time.Today they continue to build a legacy with sustainable agricultural and winemaking practices, resulting in their collection of fine wines. Their deep-rooted philosophy led to King Estate becoming the largest certified Biodynamic vineyard in North America. It’s more than a trend to them — it’s a way of life.

For over 40 years, Gary Farrell Winery has crafted small-lot artisan wines capturing balance and stylistic elegance from some of the finest vineyard sites in the Russian River Valley. In 1985, Winemaker Gary Farrell released his 55 cases of 1982 Rochioli-Allen Pinot Noir to widespread critical acclaim. Since that release, the team at Gary Farrell Winery has consistently focused on rigorous vineyard selection, outstanding grower relationships, and superior quality fruit. Since 2011, the current owners have been dedicated to enhancing Gary Farrell’s legacy with a single-minded focus on quality. Winemaker Brent McKoy’s journey at Gary Farrell Winery began in 2005. Starting as Cellar Foreman under Gary Farrell himself, Brent quickly made his mark with his meticulous attention to detail and passion for winemaking. His expertise and dedication saw him rise to the position of Cellar Master, and in 2023, he was appointed Head Winemaker, where he now continues to craft some of the most elegant and expressive wines in the Russian River Valley.

LexFarm (Lexington Community Farm Coalition) began in May 2009 as a grassroots organization founded by neighbors concerned about the fate of the 7.9 acre Busa Farm upon its sale to the Town of Lexington. Thanks to tremendous community involvement in Lexington and Arlington in support of the organization’s advocacy,  LexFarm began operating Lexington Community Farm in 2014 and has continued to thrive thanks to extraordinary continued community support. Farming is labor-intensive, particularly when we feed the land through regenerative agricultural practices, nourish people with farm-fresh organic food, educate adults and children about growing food, while contributing to the local food system and economy.
