The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) is holding a regional workshop on planning for waste-related carbon reduction. The workshop will be at the Lexington Community Center on Thursday, October 24 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a networking lunch.
This event will include presentations from regional waste sector leaders, a brainstorming session for reducing emissions from waste at the local and regional level, and a discussion on equity and co-benefits relating to potential reduction actions. MAPC will also be featuring Lexington’s local efforts at waste reduction.
