DESCRIPTION:IN PERSON: REGISTER\n\nThe Metropolitan Area Planning Council (
 MAPC) is holding a regional workshop on planning for waste-related carbon 
 reduction. The workshop will be at the Lexington Community Center on Thurs
 day\, October 24 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM\, followed by a networking lunc
 h.\n\nThis event will include presentations from regional waste sector lea
 ders\, a brainstorming session for reducing emissions from waste at the lo
 cal and regional level\, and a discussion on equity and co-benefits relati
 ng to potential reduction actions. MAPC will also be featuring Lexington'
