Our elected representatives—local, state and national—need to know that their constituents support meaningful and comprehensive action to limit climate change.
The LexCAN Advocacy Committee researches climate-related legislation and policy on the local, state and federal level. We take positions on climate and climate justice issues and provide testimony for local boards and state hearings, as well as in meetings with our legislators. We also inform LexCAN members and the larger community about important opportunities to persuade our elected officials to take substantial action to limit climate change.
