Discovery Day Compost Champion Sign Up
The Town is seeking community volunteers to support composting at Discovery Day this year! There will be four compost bins set up throughout the town center. To make sure participants don’t throw trash into the compost bins, volunteers will stand by the compost bins to ensure proper sorting. While you’re at it, let residents know that they can sign up for free curbside composting at home! Anyone who signs up will be provided with all the necessary information in advance. No prior knowledge required.
Discovery Day is on Saturday, May 23rd from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Volunteers are welcome to sign up for a shift of any length to support this effort! If you are a high school student, we can arrange for you to get community service hours.
