The Biggest Little Farm is the critically-acclaimed, award-winning feature documentary, directed by 5-time Emmy-winner John Chester about the epic journey of creating the biodiverse world of Apricot Lane Farms. It chronicles the eight-year quest of John and Molly Chester as they trade city living for 200 acres of barren farmland and a dream to harvest in harmony with nature.
Through dogged perseverance and embracing the opportunity provided by nature’s conflicts, the Chester’s unlock and uncover a biodiverse design for living that exists far beyond their farm, its seasons, and our wildest imagination.

Even more important than its commercial success, the film has gone on to transform the way the world views a farm’s role to positively impact biodiversity and rebuild soil and ecosystem health. Since its initial release, the film continues to be used in schools all over the world—from secondary through the university level.

Featuring breathtaking cinematography, captivating animals, and an urgent message to heed Mother Nature’s call, THE BIGGEST LITTLE FARM provides us all a vital blueprint for better living and a healthier planet.
