Learn to fix your knitwear with two fun and creative visible mending techniques this winter! Join Mariko Sugimori of Mona & Zoe Mending for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to use felting and darning as a mending technique to repair your rips, snags and sweater holes.
Feel free to bring your own clothing to work on, or practice using sample fabrics we provide! Beginners are welcome.
Mariko has been exploring new approaches to visible repair—spanning kintsugi, textile mending, and community repair projects—and is passionate about making mending a meaningful, shared practice. Discover more of her workshops at monazoemending.com.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. SPOTS ARE LIMITTED.
This program is made possible by the generous donors to the Cary Library Foundation.
