The Climate Resilience Playbook (the Playbook) is a new online resource that features planning guidance as well as implementation project ideas, best practices, and case studies from communities across the Commonwealth. Municipalities in Massachusetts have an important role to play in preparing their communities, infrastructure, and social systems for the impacts of climate change and elevating the voices, concerns, and ideas of community members most impacted. Developed based on learnings from existing grant programs and extensive engagement, the Playbook shares recommended municipal and community solutions that are equitable, flexible, replicable, and scalable.
Join the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), Pioneer Valley Planning Commission, and Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) for this webinar to officially launch the Playbook. You will learn more about the collaborative engagement process that shaped the Playbook, the Playbook’s features, and opportunities to help shape this evolving tool.
