Featuring: JEF – The Band – Contemporary Jazz for Humans & Their Friends. With unique guest artist Iyeoka Okoawo, Boston-based Nigerian-American recording artist, singer-songwriter and award-winning poet.
JEF-The Band is composed of:
-Jeff Robinson – saxophonist, composer, actor, director, playwright, and poet, who started the band the Jeff Robinson Trio in 1995 as a bridge between music and theatre.
-Jeff Song – Cellist and bass guitarist has performed around the globe and has appeared on over a dozen recordings.
-Jeff Allison – Drummer, has played with countless bands in and around Boston since the mid 80s.
Iyeoka is at the forefront of creating a new artistic genre that gracefully interweaves spoken word poetry with pop, R&B, dance, hip-hop, and electronic soul. https://undergroundsun.com/artists/iyeoka/
