Active Adult Outings is a program run by the Lexington Transportation Services with the goal to acquaint participants with our local transit, trails and places to foster greater long-term independence, health and community.
For this outing, we will first gather in the Community Center lobby (39 Marrett Rd), and together we will ride Lexpress to Lexington Community Farm. From there we will do a 2+ mile walk around the Arlington Reservoir and Cataldo Reservation and take a quick detour midway to stop in at MA France, a local Lexington business that leaves you feeling as if you escaped to France! (You are welcome to bring $ along if you wish to purchase a beverage, snack or items to take home, but this is purely optional!) We will then finish our walk and stop at the Community Farm to tour this unique location in Lexington. The Farm Store will also be open in case you wish to make any purchases of fresh produce to bring back. We will then board our bus back to Lexington Community Center. Bring binoculars if you like for our walk!
