Spring is here, and invasive plants are growing. Please join us on Sundays, May 5 and 12, to pull up invasive garlic mustard on the perimeter of LexFarm. Meet up by the information kiosk for orientation, or join in a bit later & find us out in the field!
Bring work gloves, pants, close-toed shoes, a water bottle, and sunscreen. Volunteers can take the garlic mustard home to try this recipe for Garlic Mustard Pesto.
This is an appropriate activity for adults, high school students, and families with children (elementary age and up.) All participants in LexFarm Volunteer Programs must register and sign a liability waiver annually. All participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian register for them and sign the waiver. Volunteers under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
