Join the LexCAN Advocacy Committee!

The LexCAN Advocacy Committee researches climate-related legislation and policy on the local, state and federal level. We take positions on climate and climate justice issues and provide testimony for local boards and state hearings, as well as in meetings with our legislators. We also inform LexCAN members and the larger community about important opportunities to persuade our elected officials to take substantial action to limit climate change.

To get involved:

  • Sign up to join the LexCAN Advocacy Committee or to receive action alerts from the LexCAN Advocacy Committee to stay informed about legislative action.
  • Write letters promoting climate action to your local or regional newspaper and make comments to social media
