At the Energy Fair you can learn what steps you can take to reduce your carbon footprint by transitioning away from fossil fuels. You’ll have the opportunity to:
- meet heat pump and solar installers
- see demonstrations of electric home appliances
- get behind the wheel of an electric vehicle at the EV Showcase
- schedule a free home energy assessment with HomeWorks or call MassSave
- sign up for a free heat pump consultation
- learn about financial incentives and support at LexElectrify or at MassCEC
and so much more.
Bring your kids for fun, engaging, and educational activities!
The Energy Fair will support our LexElectrify campaign, a community-wide effort to empower homeowners, renters, and businesses to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions from the building and transportation sectors. Achieving this goal will require electrifying existing systems to eliminate the use of fossil fuels, while simultaneously transitioning to renewable energy to ensure these systems are powered by electricity sourced from 100% renewable energy. A central focus is educating residents about the available programs, incentives, and other resources that can help them move towards home electrification and improved energy efficiency. An important element of the campaign is reaching low-income and fixed-income residents, renters, and those with limited English proficiency.
