Wet-felting is an ancient process by which loose, unspun wool is transformed into a permanent non-woven fabric. In this class we will use LexFarm’s own, dear alpacas’ fleece, and make beautiful vessels from it! This class is suitable for beginning felters who want to learn this hands-on, dynamic technique. All materials will be supplied, and participants will be able to take their pieces home afterwards — participants should bring a plastic bag to carry their vessels home!
*Please note that wet felting can be a surprisingly physical craft that engages core, arm, and hand muscles as you agitate the fibers.
