Come to this online meeting with the Building Electrification Accelerator (BEA) on Thursday, April, from 11-12 to learn about Energy Affordability. The purpose of this meeting is to give you the opportunity to share and discuss updates, challenges, and opportunities in your community and the networks you work with.
For this initial Community Exchange, our theme will be Energy Affordability. Following BEA updates and resources, will break out into small groups to talk about the following prompts and then come back as a full group to share lessons learned and discuss opportunities for collaborative action. Please come ready to share your thoughts in response to these questions:
– How are energy affordability challenges affecting your community? What key concerns and feedback are you hearing from community members?
– What steps, if any, are your community taking to ease energy cost burdens for residents and businesses?
– What resources would be helpful to support this community work? Are there opportunities for collaboration to increase its impact?
We welcome feedback on this format and will include a short survey at the end of the meeting. We also welcome ideas for future discussion topics. Thanks for your participation and hope to see you next Thursday!
