Join with students across Massachusetts for the annual Winter Walk & Roll! Check with your school administrator and/or PTO to see how they are celebrating. Many schools have special events for these signature Safe Routes to School Days. You can also contact the Town Transportation Office at 781-698-4820 to see how to get involved, but really…you just need to walk, bike, or roll (scooter, skateboard, wheelchair, etc.) to get yourself to school. It’s a great way to warm up and enjoy the winter and gather with friends and family. For students who are not old enough to walk/bike on their own, we recommend walking/rolling with neighbors in a group. Parents/guardians can trade off days of who is in charge of chaperoning the group! It’s a great way to build community, get to know your neighbors, build lasting friendships, get exercise, and reduce emissions and congestion.
