Come to the Massachusetts State House and speak directly to your legislators in support of H965/S644
Raptors, foxes, coyotes, and other predators keep Massachusetts’ ecosystems in balance. But in recent years, shocking numbers of these iconic creatures have been sickened or killed after preying on rodents poisoned with second-generation anticoagulant rodenticides (SGARs), or rat poison.
Mass Audubon is working with advocacy partners to pass An Act restricting the use of rodenticides in the environment (H965/S644), which would phase out use of this dangerous poison. .
When you register, Mass Audubon will begin scheduling your meetings with legislators—although last minute registrations are OK, you may not get a legislator meeting scheduled. This registration is a commitment to meet with your legislators.
