Join Boston-based herbalist, Alex Klein, for a walk around the farm to get to know our local flora.
We’ll talk about some of the edible and medicinal uses of common local species, weedy, planted, and native, as well as learn some basic botany and identification skills. We’ll also discuss safe, clever, and ethical practices when it comes to gathering wild food and medicine. And once we’ve learned what the plants can do for us, we’ll ask ourselves, what can we do for them?
