Given the enormous stakes of the November election at all levels of government, the Lexington Climate Action Network stresses that it is crucial to elect candidates who prioritize the environment. This election hinges on voter turnout. Now more than ever, it is essential to support grassroots groups working in battleground states to mobilize every voter. Join the Lexington Climate Action Network to learn how to assist non-partisan “Get Out the Vote” programs with established track records.

We will feature some of these groups:
The Environmental Voter Project identifies inactive environmentalists and transforms them into consistent voters to build the power of the environmental movement.
Force Multiplier Democracy in Action Fund: The fund consists of grassroots voter projects that are expanding the electorate and building democracy in six critical states. All eight groups are non-partisan 501c3s providing an opportunity for tax advantaged giving. Learn more about these 8 non-partisan groups
Movement Voter Fund. Movement Voter Fund invests in on the ground; grassroots groups working to advance democracy, equity, and sustainability
Also, Rock the Vote (youth), Center for Common Ground, Vote Tripling.
We will also discuss tips for active participation: postcarding and phone calling.
