DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\n\nOver the past year\, scientists in Massachuset
 ts's 5th congressional district have been organizing through the Science N
 etwork\, at the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) to protect scientific 
 integrity and funding for scientific research.\n\nUCS invites you to join 
 Rep. Katherine Clark (MA-5) and members of the Massachusetts science commu
 nity for a public conversation about how federal decisions are affecting s
 cientific research\, public health\, clean energy\, technology\, and the p
 eople whose work and lives depend on them.\n\nThis town hall creates an op
 portunity for researchers\, healthcare professionals\, students\, innovato
 rs\, and community members to share directly with Rep. Clark what they are
  experiencing and discuss what federal leadership can make possible.\n\nTh
 e program will include a moderated conversation with Rep. Clark focused on
 :\n\n- How federal policy decisions are affecting science and research in 
 Massachusetts\;\n\n- What those impacts mean for patients\, workers\, stud
 ents\, communities\, and the economy\;\n\n- How constituent experiences ca
 n inform Rep. Clark's action in Congress\;\n\n- Opportunities to protect s
 cientific progress and support future innovation\; and\n\n- How scientists
  and community members can continue to engage with Rep. Clark.\n\nAudience
  members will also have an opportunity to submit questions in advance for 
 the moderated discussion.
