 ill affect us all. Its setting is not a desolate\, post-apocalyptic world\
 , but a future that is almost upon us. Chosen by Barack Obama as one of hi
 s favorite books of the year\, this extraordinary novel from visionary sci
 ence fiction writer Kim Stanley Robinson will change the way you think abo
 ut the climate crisis.\n\nThe book club will be held in person\, approxima
 tely once a quarter.  Books will alternate between fiction and nonfiction
  with an emphasis on hope for the planet. Limited copies of the title will
  be available to borrow at Cary Library in print and audiobook formats.\n\
