SUMMARY:The Boston Foundation: Leveraging Catalytic Capital for Small Resid
 ential Building Decarbonization
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\n\nThe Boston Foundation\, in partnership with th
e Building Electrification Institute and Firefly Consulting\, invite you t
o join us for a presentation and conversation focused on our latest climat
e report\, Leveraging Catalytic Capital for Small Residential Building Dec
arbonization in Boston.\n\nIn 2024\, The Boston Foundation released Poweri
ng Up Together report which examined the barriers slowing residential buil
ding decarbonization in Boston--particularly for low- and moderate-income
(LMI) households--and identified catalytic capital as a promising tool for
accelerating equitable progress. Building on that foundation\, The resear
ch team developed this report\, a technical addendum\, that identifies whe
re catalytic capital can have the greatest near-term impact.\n\nAt this fo
rum we will begin by sharing how we evaluated opportunities to address cap
ital-related barriers facing Boston's small and medium residential buildin
gs. Then\, we will present the set of prioritized\, actionable strategies
for deploying mission-driven capital alongside existing public and utility
programs to expand equitable access to residential decarbonization for LM
I households across Boston's diverse housing stock. Following the research
presentation we will have a panel conversation with key stakeholders inve
sted in this work\, and conclude with audience Q&amp\;A.
