SUMMARY:Sustainable Medford Event: Weathering Change with Meteorologist Dav
 id Epstein
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\n\nJoin Boston Globe Columnist and WGBH Morning E
dition Meteorologist David Epstein for a thought-provoking and optimistic
conversation about our changing climate\, our connection to the natural wo
rld\, and why the small choices we make everyday matter.\n\nEpstein has sp
ent his career watching the sky\, tracking storms\, and paying close atten
tion to what’s changing. In this presentation\, he steps back from the f
orecast to explore something bigger: how we see ourselves in relation to t
he natural world and the impact of our daily actions.\n\nClimate change is
part of the conversation\, but so is something more hopeful. Epstein make
s the case that we are not separate from nature\, we are part of it\, and
that the small choices we make each day matter: planting native species\,
appreciating our yards and Medfield’s open spaces\, and living lighter o
n the earth. Not because any one of them solves the problem\, but because
they change how we live inside it.\n\nExpect science\, humor\, some hard t
ruths\, and a genuinely optimistic path forward.
