SUMMARY:Refrigerant Emissions Reduction Webinar
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\n\nMass Save now offers incentives for refrigeran
t leak repair and swap out. Come to this webinar to learn more about refri
gerants\, their environmental impact\, and emissions reduction opportuniti
 es in commercial/industrial facilities.\n\n\n\n\n\nAgenda:\n1. Refrigerant
Basics\n- What are refrigerants?\n- Where and why are they used?\n- Refri
 gerant impacts\n- Foundational history &amp\; past transitions\n\n\n\n2. C
 ommercial Refrigeration &amp\; Emissions\n- Refrigerant leaks\n- Refrigera
nt retrofits\n\n\n3. Emissions Reduction Opportunities &amp\; How to Ident
ify Them\n\n\n4. Mass Save Incentives (speaker from Eversource)\n\n\n5. Q&
amp\;A\n\nThe slides and a recording will be available to those who regist
er.\n\nContinuing education units (CEUs) will be available through UMass f
or those who attend the live sessions. They are offered at no cost for Mas
sachusetts utility customers\, Massachusetts energy professionals\, busine
sses affiliated with Mass Save\, and employees of the Sponsors of Mass Sav
 e. Others may choose to apply and pay for CEUs.\n\nInstructor: Melissa Ste
wart\, Engineering Manager\, VEIC - Melissa specializes in the implementat
ion and analysis of energy efficiency and building decarbonization measure
 s. A key member of the Industrial Process Technology Solutions Group\, she
leads research and development on the use of industrial-scale heat pumps\
, high temperature heat pump modelling\, heat recovery\, and potential gre
enhouse gas savings in the industrial refrigeration sector. She is an expe
rt in natural and low-GWP refrigerants and has consulted on ASHRAE refrige
rant code standards for R32 technology and provided recommendations on the
general applicability of R32 and natural refrigerant technology for syste
ms in Vermont.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHosted by Massachusetts Energy Efficiency Pa
 rtnership. Learn more at http://maeep.org\n\n\n\n\n\n
