DESCRIPTION:As Lexington’s commemorative 250th year comes to a close\, th
 e town’s Department of Public Works and its Tree Committee are joining f
 orces again to order and give away 250 beautiful\, native saplings to resi
 dents.\n\nThe small ornamentals have already been spoken for but we still 
 have some beautiful medium sized (hornbeam) and large (oak\, river birch\,
  tupelo\, cedar and holly) tree species available. The full list\, with pi
 ctures\, is easily visible at signup. The last day to order will be April 
 18.\n\nTrees may be picked up at the DPW on 2 consecutive Saturdays: May 2
 \, and May 9\, from 9 AM to 12 Noon. Some free mulch (bring a container) w
 ill also be available.\n\nTo order your tree\, visit https://www.lexington

 ming to a close\, the Tree Committee doesn't anticipate a similar program
  next year. This is your chance!
