DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\n\nThe Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use M
 anagement (NESCAUM) is a coalition of state air agencies that promotes reg
 ional cooperation and action by its member states in support of effective 
 programs to reduce the adverse public health and environmental impacts of 
 air pollution and climate change. It does so by providing policy support a
 nd coordination to the Northeast states\, including Massachusetts.\n\nThe 
 Multistate Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to Accelerate the Transition 
 to Zero-Emission Residential Buildings\, from 2024\, sets a target for zer
 o-emission heat pumps to make up 65% of the collective MOU state space and
  water heating market by 2030\, and 90% by 2040.\n\n\nThis webinar will pr
 ovide an overview of the Multistate Action Plan to Accelerate the Transit
 ion to Zero-Emission Residential Buildings. Released in September\, the Ac
 tion Plan provides over 50 recommendations to help states improve access t
 o affordable clean heat. Participants will learn about the recommendations
  and hear directly from states on how they are working to advance zero-emi
 ssion residential buildings. Speakers include Emily Levin\, Director of Po
 licy and Programs at NESCAUM\, Liz Reichart\, Deputy Director of Building 
 Decarbonization at the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources\, and 
 Emily Salzberg\, Managing Director for Clean Buildings at the Washington D
 epartment of Commerce.\n\n
