  systems and how to reduce operating costs by up to 25% through more effec
 tive production and use of air\n\n\n\n\n\nThis course introduces how the c
 ost of operating a compressed air system can be reduced by up to 25% throu
 gh more effective production and use of compressed air. Participants will 
 learn how to:\n\n1. Calculate the energy cost of compressed air in their f
 acility\n\n2. Improve compressed air system efficiency and reliability\n\n
 3. Identify inappropriate uses of compressed air\n\n4. Establish a baselin
 e by which they can measure improvements in compressed air performance and
  efficiency\n\n5. Match system supply to actual production requirements fo
 r pressure and flow\n\n6. Find and fix leaks\n\n7. Establish a leak preven
 tion program\n\n8. Better control compressed air to improve productivity a
 nd profitability\n\n9. Get support from Mass Save on compressed air effici
 ency projects\n\nWho should attend? Facilities engineers\, plant managers\
 , compressed air system operators and maintenance staff\, air compressor v
 endors\, industrial energy auditors\, and energy efficiency program staff 
 and vendors.\n\nRegistration is free for Massachusetts utility customers\,
  Massachusetts energy professionals\, businesses affiliated with Mass Save
 \, and employees of the Sponsors of Mass Save. Others are welcome to atten
 d\, and after registering they will be billed $300 per person to be paid t
 o Compressed Air Challenge.\n\nCoffee and light breakfast will be availabl
 e at 8:30am. Class starts at 9:00am. Buffet lunch will be provided.\n\n\n\
