 ugh weatherization of commercial/institutional facilities\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThi
 s class is also being held on May 6 in Westborough. Register for only one
  of these two sessions!\n\nFor those who have some background on the subje
 ct or want to get into more depth after this class\, we are offering an in
 termediate class on May 7 in Westborough.\n\nIn the introductory class (A
 pril 14 or May 6)\, we will start with envelope basics: the 4 control laye
 rs\, insulation types\, and air barrier principals. Then we will cover eva
 luation techniques and auditing the envelope on existing commercial and in
 stitutional buildings. In the intermediate class (May 7)\, we will go over
  the most common envelope improvements and cover challenges and potential 
 risks with implementation. We will also go deeper into the techniques used
  to evaluate and prioritize building envelope opportunities\, including en
 ergy modeling and cost estimating. In both classes\, we will discuss appro
 aches to selling building envelope upgrades. There will be activities thro
 ughout where students will work in teams to practice what they have learne
 d.\n\n\n
