DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\n\n\n\nLearn about ventilation requirements and a
 pproaches\, and how heat/energy recovery can be used to increase efficienc
 y of HVAC systems.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis training assumes some basic knowledge
  of HVAC equipment\, and it will focus on commercial and institutional bui
 ldings.\n\nAgenda:\n\n- Ventilation\n\n- Introduction to Heat Recovery –
  Conserving Energy vs Recovering Energy and why you need to do both\n\n- E
 nergy Recovery Ventilation (ERV) Systems\n\n- Hot Gas Reheat (HGRH) for Pa
 ckaged RTUs\n\n- Heat Reclaim Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Heat Pumps\n
 \n- Chiller Heat Reclaim\n\n- Other Solutions - Water Source Heat Pump Loo
 p\, Stack Economizers for Steam Boilers\, Plumbing Waste Water\n\n\nCoffee
  and light breakfast will be available starting about 8:30am. Class starts
  at 9:00am. Buffet lunch will be provided. Continuing education units (CEU
 s) will be available through UMass.\n\nInstructor: Ryan Hoger is the Dire
 ctor of Training at Temperature Equipment Corp. where he has worked since 
 1997. He is a former president of the Illinois ASHRAE Chapter and has been
  active with gas/electric utility committees. He has extensive experience 
 with energy codes\, building automation systems (BAS)\, energy recovery ve
 ntilators (ERV)\, dual fuel heat pump systems\, Aeroseal duct sealing\, sm
 art thermostats\, variable refrigerant flow (VRF)\, economizers and packag
 ed RTUs\, demand controlled ventilation (DCV)\, and other energy conservin
 g HVAC systems. Ryan has written HVAC articles for various publications an
 d is the featured instructor on TecTube (https://www.youtube.com/tectubefi
 lms). He has a Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering from the 
 University of Illinois\, runs several youth sports programs\, and is marri
 ed with four kids.\n\n
