 n May 2nd\, 2026!\nBuildings are one of the top emitting sectors\, contrib
 uting to 40% of greenhouse gas emissions. Clusters of buildings like unive
 rsities can be the top emitters in a community. Universities and cities ac
 ross the US are working hard to decarbonize\, and are looking into technol
 ogies like thermal energy networks (TENs). This showcase brings together s
 tudents\, campus administrators\, government officials\, industry professi
 onals\, and community members to discuss the consideration and implementat
 ion of Thermal Energy Networks on campuses for rapid\, cost-effective deca
 rbonization. We aim to demystify decarbonization\, encourage student and c
 ommunity action\, and foster dialogue and collaboration!\n\nThe showcase w
 ill run from 10am to 4pm EST and will be held at MIT’s Wong Auditorium i
 n the Tang Center (70 Memorial Drive\, Cambridge). You can find our draft 
 program here\, including an exciting lineup of panelists and student poste
 r presentations. Lunch will be provided. Some programming will have a virt
 ual option if there is enough interest.\n
