 n\nLexington is home to over 70 species of edible wild plants\, both nativ
 e and non-native\, including plants considered to be weedy or invasive. So
 me are more nutritious and/or flavorful than their cultivated counterparts
 . This time of year offers a great opportunity to highlight late berry\, r
 oot and nut harvests.\n\nThe walk is friendly to well behaved and attentiv
 e children. Dress appropriately for the weather and bring a water bottle a
 nd harvesting bags.\n\nMeet at the Fitness Trail entrance at the crosswalk
  on Worthen Road across from the Lexington High playing fields.\n\nLimited
