DESCRIPTION:JOIN HERE\n\nThe Department will be conducting an in-person pub
 lic hearing to receive comments on the petition from National Grid for an 
 increase in gas base distribution rates. Additional information regarding 
 National Grid’s proposal and bill impacts for different service areas ma
 y be found below. The proposed rates are suspended while the Department co
 nducts its review of National Grid’s petition.\n\nThe Department will ho
 ld eight public hearings to receive comments on the Company’s filing.\n\
 nThe seventh public hearing will take place virtually on Monday\, April 13
 \, 2026\, at 7:00 p.m. For audio-only access to the hearing\, attendees c
 an dial-in at 646-558-8656 (not toll free) and then enter Meeting ID# 885 
 2249 4757. The hearing will be conducted in English\, Spanish\, Mandarin\,
  Cantonese\, Khmer\, Brazilian Portuguese\, and Russian. To request interp
 retation and/or translation in an additional language\, please email Kayle
 e Burgess at dpu.ej@mass.gov by Monday\, April 6\, 2026.\n\nAny person 
 interested in commenting on this matter may submit written comments no lat
 er than the close of business (5:00 p.m.) on Thursday\, April 30\, 2026.
