DESCRIPTION:The Department will be conducting an in-person public hearing t
 o receive comments on the petition from National Grid for an increase in g
 as base distribution rates. Additional information regarding National Grid
 ’s proposal and bill impacts for different service areas may be found be
 low. The proposed rates are suspended while the Department conducts its re
 view of National Grid’s petition.\n\nThe Department will hold eight publ
 ic hearings to receive comments on the Company’s filing.\n\nThe eighth p
 ublic hearing will take place on Wednesday\, April 15\, 2026\, at 7:00 p.m
 . at the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities\, One South Station\
 , 3rd Floor\, Boston\, Massachusetts 02111. The hearing will be conducted
  in English\, Spanish\, Mandarin\, French Creole\, Vietnamese\, and Brazil
 ian Portuguese. To request interpretation and/or translation in an additio
 nal language\, please email Kaylee Burgess at dpu.ej@mass.gov by Wednes
 day\, April 8\, 2026.\n\nAny person interested in commenting on this matte
 r may submit written comments no later than the close of business (5:00 p.
