SUMMARY:Climate X Change Webinar: Equitable Energy: Engaging Communities in
  Grid Investment Projects
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEnergy demand is rising\, electric
ity prices are increasing\, and the grid is struggling to keep up. To meet
this challenge\, states must invest in energy infrastructure\, while ensu
ring that investments benefit both the grid at large and local host comm
unities. Taking a critical look at how community engagement can be most ef
fective during grid investment projects is essential for turning local per
spectives into best practices.\n\nWe’ve convened a panel of speakers who
have developed community engagement frameworks through robust community o
utreach and research. They’ll share lessons learned and practical tools
for developers\, regulators\, and advocates working to make grid investmen
ts beneficial for the communities that host them.\n\nOur speakers include:
\n\n- Maury Galbraith\, Executive Director of the Colorado Electric Transm
ission Authority\n\n- Josh Rogers\, Policy Specialist\, Energy Systems at
 the Great Plains Institute\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
