  authoritarian agenda. Oil and gas CEOs offered up millions of dollars to 
 get Trump into power. Now\, they’re directly reaping the rewards from in
 creasing energy prices\, oil-fueled wars and military interventions\, and 
 the dismantling of environmental protections meant to keep our communities
  healthy and safe.\n\nThis May Day is going to be a huge moment in the mov
 ement to resist Trump\, with groups planning to mobilize and strike across
  the country. We’re showing up as Power Up: The Movement to End Fossil 
 Fuels to expose the deep connections between Big Oil and the Trump adminis
 tration – while showing up in solidarity with the broader movement to re
