DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\n\nBy popular demand\, Jeff Howry\, Ph.D.\, a Lex
 ington historian and archaeologist will lead another walk exploring Willar
 d’s Woods. The area presents many examples of how our New England lands
 cape was shaped by nature and occupied by humans. The tour will show parti
 cipants many of the features of the 100 acres that tell stories of what ha
 s happened in the past 12\,000 years.\n\nPosters and artifacts will supple
 ment the narrative as we explore the various terrains and historic areas w
 ithin the conservation area. Participants will particularly come to apprec
 iate the historic landscape and what it tells us about our colonial forbea
 rers’ lives.\n\nWear long pants with closure straps\, hiking footgear an
 d weather-proof clothing. Meet in the main parking lot on North Street opp
